We are currently recruiting experienced Aluminium MIG Welders / Fabricators to join a busy workshop supporting major SSEN infrastructure upgrade projects. You will be fabricating and welding aluminium plates and components used in pylons and substations, working from detailed engineering drawings to precise specifications and tolerances.

Requirements
Essential
- Proven Aluminium MIG welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Fabrication experience in a workshop environment.
- Ability to work accurately to tight tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Desirable
- TIG welding experience.
- Previous experience working on structural or infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- MIG weld aluminium plates and components to engineering specifications.
- Fabricate components in line with technical drawings.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely.
- Inspect your own work to ensure it meets quality standards.
