We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator for a temp-to-perm position. This full-time role offers a competitive pay rate of £19.05 per hour for a 37.5-hour week. Based in a well-equipped workshop, this position provides long-term career prospects and the opportunity to work on bespoke engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabricate and weld bespoke components for engineering projects.
- Carry out high-standard MIG and TIG welding processes.
- Work with sheet metal, mild steel, and stainless steel.
- Manufacture components for heavy engineering and food manufacturing systems.
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings accurately.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience in a workshop-based welding and fabrication role.
- Proven background and technical expertise with sheet metal fabrication.
- Highly skilled in both MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and work from complex technical drawings.
- Experience working with mild and stainless steel materials.
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or within teams.
