Key Responsibilities:
- Review tender documents and define project scopes.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, material take-offs, and quotations.
- Secure competitive supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Identify project risks, exclusions, and value-engineering options.
Design & Technical Support
- Prepare façade and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop details for curtain walling, windows, doors, and ironmongery.
- Apply structural façade principles including loads, weathering, and thermal performance.
Requirements
- Experience: 5–10 years in façade design or estimating roles.
- Expertise: Strong technical background in steel façade systems.
- Software: Highly competent in AutoCAD.
- Skills: Ability to read structural drawings with strong commercial awareness.
Preferred (But Not Essential)
- Experience with Schüco, Jansen, SchüCal, or LogiKal software.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of CWCT guidelines, BS/EN standards, and UK Building Regulations.
