Electrician, Domestic, £30.00 per hour, £25 meal allowance when away, Long Term
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join a long-term social housing project across Argyll and Bute. This is a 26-week contract offering a competitive rate of £30.00 per hour, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Responsibilities
- Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across approximately 800 residential properties
- Complete remedial works associated with Code 1 and Code 2 observations
- Undertake general electrical maintenance and repairs as required
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations
- Travel across Helensburgh & Lomond, Mid Argyll, Kintyre, and Cowal to support project delivery
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with current 18th Edition certification
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to work in a mobile role
- Experience carrying out EICRs and remedial works within domestic or social housing environments
- Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices
- 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
