  Responsibilities

• Working Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm; Friday, 8:00am–1:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel components.
• Fabricate sheet metal parts and assemblies to specification.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Manufacture bespoke equipment for heavy engineering and food manufacturing applications.
• Work on conveyor systems and other specialist engineering projects.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and workshop safety.
  

  Requirements

• Must be a time-served Welder/Fabricator.
• Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding.
• Practical MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Experience working with mild steel and stainless steel.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
