We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a growing team working across commercial sites throughout Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and opportunities to work on varied and technically interesting projects. You will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical systems while delivering a professional and reliable service on every site visit.
Salary £42,500 – £44,500 per year (depending on experience)
Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
Overtime paid at 1.5x after 4:30pm and on Saturdays, 2x on Sundays

Mobile role covering multiple commercial locations
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems across commercial facilities
Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to minimise downtime
Respond to reactive maintenance calls in a timely and professional manner
Conduct testing and inspection in line with current regulations
Ensure all installations are safe, compliant, and fully operational
Assist with electrical installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new systems
Maintain clear communication on-site and complete job reports, test certificates, timesheets, and material records
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
2391 Testing and Inspection qualification (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (advantageous)
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience in facilities management or mobile engineering environments (preferred)
