Site Engineer, Scotland Wide, Mobile Role, Permanent, £45,000 to £50,000

Responsibilities:
- Commission, service, and maintain a range of energy and mechanical systems, including electric boilers, commercial heat pumps, CHP systems, MVHR, HIUs, and metering equipment
- Inspect and verify installer work, including detailed installation checks, cable routing, and overcurrent protection
- Ensure all equipment is installed and maintained in line with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Diagnose and resolve faults across the full product portfolio
- Set up and support metering systems, including M-Bus and Modbus connections
- Work with MVHR systems using data wiring similar to RS485
- Support Gas Safe engineers when required on joint tasks
- Communicate professionally with clients, delivering high levels of customer service
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation via a CRM system
- Maintain strict health and safety compliance at all times
- Participate in ongoing CPD training to maintain technical competence and certifications
Requirements:
- Valid ECS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Level 3 electro-technical qualification
- Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent)
- AM2 certification
- Current BS7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations) qualification
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel across Scotland, with occasional overnight stays (up to 4 days per month)
