Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in mechanical/HVAC project engineering
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, heating, plumbing and BMS
• Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to interpret drawings and manage cost/design elements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Desirable: IOSH/NEBOSH certification
• Desirable: Proven success delivering projects on time, within budget and meeting SHEQ expectations
• Desirable: Experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple HVAC/mechanical projects up to £1M from start to completion
• Prepare RAMS, H&S documentation and ensure full legal compliance
• Liaise with suppliers, manage procurement, negotiate discounts and approve invoices
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, labour and commissioning teams
• Plan and schedule works, including weekly site coordination
• Lead weekly client meetings and provide reports to the Contract Director
• Identify variations, secure client instructions and maximise project value
• Problem-solve and drive projects to completion on time and within budget
• Prepare O&M manuals and oversee final client handover
