Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in mechanical/HVAC project engineering
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, heating, plumbing and BMS
- Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to interpret drawings and manage cost/design elements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Desirable: IOSH/NEBOSH certification
- Desirable: Proven success delivering projects on time, within budget and meeting SHEQ expectations
- Desirable: Experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple HVAC/mechanical projects up to £1M from start to completion
- Prepare RAMS, H&S documentation and ensure full legal compliance
- Liaise with suppliers, manage procurement, negotiate discounts and approve invoices
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, labour and commissioning teams
- Plan and schedule works, including weekly site coordination
- Lead weekly client meetings and provide reports to the Contract Director
- Identify variations, secure client instructions and maximise project value
- Problem-solve and drive projects to completion on time and within budget
- Prepare O&M manuals and oversee final client handover
