Responsibilities:
- As a Sales Ledger Clerk or Credit Control professional, you’ll take ownership of the sales ledger, ensuring all invoices, credit notes, and account reconciliations are processed accurately and on time.
- You’ll monitor outstanding debt, proactively and professionally chasing overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow and strong client relationships.
- Working closely with clients and internal teams, you’ll resolve payment queries, investigate discrepancies, and maintain clear communication across departments.
- Your role will include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing regular management reports, and supporting both month-end and year-end reporting activities.
- You’ll also assist with ad hoc finance tasks as needed, contributing to a smooth and efficient finance function within a dynamic construction or manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- You’ll bring strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities to manage client accounts effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or similar systems is essential. You’ll also be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced finance environment.
