Responsibilities:
- Carry out train exterior body repairs, including rust removal, welding, dent fixing, and panel replacement
- Complete interior overhauls – floors, seats, ceilings, and partitions
- Inspect and repair corrosion and structural damage
- Handle full train carriage refurbishments to engineering standards
- Operate power and pneumatic tools for repairs and finishing
- Ensure compliance with rail safety standards and quality specifications
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality refurbishment projects
Requirements:
- Qualified Coach Builder with time-served experience or equivalent certifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Skilled in metalworking, including panel replacement, fabrication, and body repairs
