Groundworker, Lanarkshire, Competitive Hourly Pay!

We have an up coming job for a Groundworker to join an excellent company in the Lanarkshire area! If you have a strong background in groundworks and a commitment to high-quality workmanship, apply now to get a head start in the process!

Key Responsibilities:

• Excavation and preparation of sites for construction.
• Installation of drainage systems and pipework.
• Concrete foundations and floor slabs.
• Laying of kerbs, flags, and paving.
• Backfilling and compaction of trenches and foundations.
• Site levelling and grading.
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards.
• Working alongside other trades and teams to meet deadlines.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a groundworker (minimum 2 years).
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, and foundations.
• Ability to operate plant machinery (e.g., mini diggers, dumpers) – preferred but not essential.
• CSCS card (essential).
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
