We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a leading engineering company at the heart of the heavy manufacturing supply chain. This role has been created due to business growth and a strong order pipeline, ensuring long-term stability and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble hydraulically operated machinery to engineering specifications.
- Inspect components prior to assembly, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Use conventional and specialist tools for mechanical assembly.
- Install hydraulic valves onto manifolds.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures for key processes.
- Work as part of a team to drive continuous improvement in productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar mechanical fitting or machine build role.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly and detail drawings.
- Experience with inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrics is desirable.
- Valid reach/counterbalance forklift truck and cherry picker license is advantageous.
