Electrician, Glasgow, Salary from £33,000 to £35,000 per annum + Static Site-Based Opportunity + Free Onsite Parking + Generous Company Pension + 29 Days Holiday + More!

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join a dynamic and skilled team based on a prestigious site in Glasgow. This static, site-based role focuses on delivering high-quality planned and reactive electrical maintenance. As an integral member of the multi-skilled engineering team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site’s facilities.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM), including monthly lighting and plant checks, along with general building upkeep.
  • Conduct reactive electrical works, such as repairs to lighting systems, distribution boards, and other electrical assets.
  • Complete routine PPM visits and respond to reactive repair needs across the site.
  • Oversee and assist subcontractors performing PPM or reactive works onsite, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 18th Edition Certification (BS7671).
  • City & Guilds / SVQ Level II/III in Electrical Installations.
  • Proven experience in facilities management or the building services industry, demonstrating a strong technical background.
