Mechanical Fitter, Edinburgh, Salary from £28,000 up to £30,000 per annum + Training & Development Opportunities!

Day shift - Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5pm

Mechanical fitter required to work within a well-established Tool & Plant Hire Company based in Edinburgh.  The Mechanical Fitter is required to work within the workshop maintaining all equipment before hire.

Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities:

• Responsible for repairing and replacing damaged equipment.
• Active participation and meaningful engagement in continuous improvement activities and meetings.
• Interrogate, fault find and resolve any problems that are shown on the company’s equipment.
• Respond to plant downtime to ensure that the plant can maximize throughput.

Mechanical Fitter Requirements:

• Experience working in a heavy engineering or industrial facility (in a mechanical environment).
• A strong mechanical bias with experience in mechanical systems.
