Responsibilities

• Safely transport chilled and frozen food products on delivery routes between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
• Complete daily pre-use and post-use vehicle inspections, reporting any defects.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and transport documentation.
• Maintain temperature control and hygiene records for food products.
• Carry out 20–30 store and depot deliveries per day.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at each delivery location.
• Ensure full compliance with transport legislation, health and safety procedures, and food handling regulations.

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous commercial HGV driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of driver hours and transport compliance regulations.
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.

• Food wholesale or distribution industry.
• Chilled and frozen goods deliveries.
• Multi-drop driving experience.
• Store and depot delivery operations.
