Mobile Electrician – Central Belt - Temp to Perm - £21–£24ph – Overtime at 1.5x
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems across commercial and industrial sites
- Conduct electrical inspection & testing, including compliance documentation
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns across plant and equipment
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical assets
- Work collaboratively within a multi‑skilled engineering team
- Install, commission, and modify equipment and services as required
- Keep all maintenance and modification documentation up to date
- Identify and report equipment faults or early signs of failure
- Follow safe isolation/de‑isolation procedures and permit‑to‑work protocols
- Support wider engineering tasks as directed by the Electrical Supervisor
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and engineering discipline
Experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in commercial/industrial electrical work
- Strong skills in cable containment systems
- Up‑to‑date IEE Wiring Regulations qualification
- Valid SJIB grade card
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently in a mobile role
- CompEx certification (desirable)
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
