Spray Painter, £14.60 per hour, day week. Temp to Perm, Motherwell

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding, cleaning, and degreasing
• Accurately mask vehicles and components to achieve high-quality finishes
• Apply etching primers, wet-on-wet undercoats, and two-pack topcoat systems
• Prime and paint metal components to a consistent professional standard
• Maintain spray guns, paint equipment, and spray booths
• Follow PPE and health and safety procedures at all times
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe

Requirements:

• Previous experience in vehicle painting, industrial painting, coachbuilding, commercial vehicle painting, or a manufacturing paint shop environment
• Experience working with two-pack paint systems
• Proficient in the use of spray guns and spray booths
• Strong understanding of surface preparation and masking techniques
• Experience applying primers, undercoats, and topcoats
• Ability to produce high-quality finishes with excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a paint shop environment
