Fabricator, up to £18.50 per hour, Immediate Start, Glasgow City Centre

Responsibilities
- Fabricate balustrades, staircases, and structural steel beams to specification
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings accurately
- Carry out steel fabrication work within a workshop environment in Holytown
- Assist with on-site steel erection projects in Glasgow, including St Vincent Place
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
- Maintain high levels of quality, precision, and productivity throughout projects
- Participate in a practical trade test as part of the recruitment process
Requirements
- Previous experience in steel fabrication and structural steelwork
- Proven experience fabricating balustrades and stair components
- Ability to confidently read and work from technical drawings
- Valid CSCS Card is essential
- Experience assisting with steel erection on construction sites preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, and Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break each day.
