Pipefitter / Welder – Temp to Perm, £20 per hour, Linwood, Mobile position

Responsibilities

• Carrying out press fitting installations, including M&F press systems

• Fabrication and installation of pipework from ½ inch to 12 inch

• Working with a variety of materials including:

  • Stainless steel (metric, hygienic & nominal bore)

  • Carbon steel (nominal bore)

  • Copper pipework

• Reading and working from isometric drawings

• Shop fabrication and on-site fabrication

• Site measuring prior to fabrication

• Occasional welding work where required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter in industrial environments

• Background working in sectors such as:

  • Petrochemical

  • Pharmaceutical

  • Breweries & distilleries

  • Food production facilities

• Ability to read and interpret isometrics

• Full manual UK driving licence (essential due to mobile role)
