CNC Machinist, Permanent, Competitive Salary (DOE), Ayshire

Responsibilities

• Day Shift:
  Mon–Thurs: 7:30am – 4:30pm
  Fri: 7:30am – 12:30pm
• Night Shift:
  Mon: 9:30pm – 7:30am
  Tue–Thurs: 9:30pm – 7:30am (finishing Fri 7:30am)
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings to meet precise customer specifications
• Operate CNC horizontal borers, vertical borers, machining centres, and mill-turn machines
• Set and program Mazatrol milling machining centres
• Produce high-quality components while maintaining accuracy and tight tolerances
• Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain a clean, efficient work environment

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship CNC machining experience
• Strong proficiency operating CNC horizontal and vertical borers and machining centres
• Confident in setting and programming Mazatrol milling machining centres
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings with high accuracy
