Air Conditioning Engineer job in Edinburgh offering up to 45k, overtime, van, fuel card and strong career progression with a leading commercial HVAC provider.

Requirements

  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
  • F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification
  • Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC, chillers and refrigeration systems
  • Skilled in brazing, copper work and metal component repairs
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently across multiple client sites
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally

 

Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM servicing on split systems, VRV/VRF and multi-split AC units
  • Work on chillers and refrigeration systems where required
  • Diagnose faults quickly and perform high-quality repairs
  • Replace key components including compressors, motors, sensors and control boards
  • Ensure full compliance with F-Gas regulations and Health & Safety standards
  • Complete all job sheets, service reports and compliance documentation accurately
  • Maintain detailed records of refrigerant usage and parts replaced
  • Work collaboratively with fellow engineers and office support
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to junior engineers
  • Liaise professionally with clients and ensure high-quality customer service
