Requirements
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
- F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification
- Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC, chillers and refrigeration systems
- Skilled in brazing, copper work and metal component repairs
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple client sites
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally
Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM servicing on split systems, VRV/VRF and multi-split AC units
- Work on chillers and refrigeration systems where required
- Diagnose faults quickly and perform high-quality repairs
- Replace key components including compressors, motors, sensors and control boards
- Ensure full compliance with F-Gas regulations and Health & Safety standards
- Complete all job sheets, service reports and compliance documentation accurately
- Maintain detailed records of refrigerant usage and parts replaced
- Work collaboratively with fellow engineers and office support
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to junior engineers
- Liaise professionally with clients and ensure high-quality customer service
