Plating Operator, £29,321 + 10% Shift Allowance, Cambuslang

Responsibilities:

• Operate manual chemical plating lines across a range of coatings, including:
  – Zinc
  – Zinc Nickel
  – Electroless Nickel
  – Gold
  – Silver
• Monitor production tanks, conduct chemical analysis, and adjust levels as required
• Perform X-ray testing to verify coating thickness
• Complete job cards with accurate and detailed process information
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety throughout all tasks

Requirements:

• Strong hand dexterity with practical, demonstrable examples
• Experience working on precision components to high quality standards (desirable)
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Previous plating experience preferred, but full training will be provided

Shift Pattern (Two-Shift Rotation Once Trained):

Early Shift:
Mon–Thu 6:00am–2:00pm, Fri 6:00am–1:30pm

Back Shift:
Mon–Thu 2:00pm–10:00pm, Fri 2:00pm–9:30pm
