Electrical Technician, Full-Time, Permanent, £49,105 per annum

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical systems.

• Perform inspection, maintenance, repairs, and testing of rolling stock in accordance with vehicle instructions.

• Remove, refit, and modify electrical components following authorised work instructions and specifications.

• Accurately interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

• Complete all paperwork and work instructions accurately and promptly.

• Collaborate effectively as part of a production team.

• Work safely, adhering to all mandatory safety and compliance requirements.

• Represent the client’s behavioural expectations by supporting positive working relationships across teams, customers, and external agencies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fault-finding and diagnosing electrical systems (ideally within a rolling stock environment).

• SVQ/NVQ Level 3 Electrical or Dual Skilled Qualification (or equivalent).

• Minimum NC Electrical (or equivalent).

• Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
