Gas Engineer, Perm, Mobile, £39,000 – £42,000, OT paid at x1.5

We’re looking for an experienced and professional Gas Engineer to join our clients growing maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer seeking a stable, permanent role with excellent pay and overtime benefits. As a Gas Engineer, you’ll carry out maintenance, servicing, and fault diagnosis across a range of domestic and commercial heating systems in compliance with gas safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
• Replace heating controls and components following manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct Combustion Performance Analysis and record accurate results.
• Perform fault investigation and diagnosis, referencing manufacturers’ technical literature.
• Attend reported gas escapes and suspected fumes incidents, ensuring all safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance documentation is up to date.

Requirements:

• CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, DAH1, CPA1
• COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CORT1, CIGA1
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety Regulations.
• Demonstrates high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full, clean, and current UK driving licence (essential).
