Key Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) – Carry out routine building maintenance tasks
• Reactive Repairs – Respond to minor faults, leaks, and emergency repair requests
• Basic Plumbing – Unblocking drains, repairing leaks, and servicing TMVs
• Fabric Maintenance – Handle joinery, painting, minor DIY, and patchwork repairs
• Water Hygiene & Compliance Tasks – Including temperature checks, flushing, and logbook upkeep
• Customer-Focused Service – Deliver a friendly, professional approach with both clients and the public
• Team Collaboration – Work alongside facilities and compliance teams to maintain high site standards

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a Facilities Assistant, Handyperson, or Maintenance Operative role
• Knowledge of PPM schedules, building systems, and basic plumbing or joinery
• Awareness of water hygiene standards and compliance protocols
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Health & Safety awareness in a facilities environment

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in a Facilities Management or building services setting
• Basic qualifications or certifications in plumbing, joinery, or building maintenance
• Familiarity with HSE guidelines and compliance logbooks
