Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out train body repairs, including welding, rust treatment, dent correction, and panel replacement
- Overhaul interior components such as floors, seats, ceilings, and partitions
- Inspect and repair structural damage and corrosion to ensure safety compliance
- Complete full train carriage refurbishments to engineering and safety standards
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools with precision
- Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy across all projects
- Collaborate with team members to ensure on-time project delivery
Requirements:
- Time-served Coach Builder or equivalent engineering/fabrication qualification
- Strong skills in metalwork, fabrication, and body repair
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Understanding of rail safety protocols and workshop procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, team-based environment
