Welder, Glasgow, Salary from £38,000 up to £40,000 + Unlimited Overtime + Fantastic Career Development Opportunities!
We are currently looking for an experienced Welder to join an established company, working in a mobile position across Scotland, Northeast and Northwest England. The Welder will perform installations, Maintenance, and repair of pipework systems, including fabrication spools, water tanks, and steam boiler repairs.
Benefits:
- Salary: Up to £40,000 plus on-target earnings with unlimited overtime opportunities.
- Overtime: 1.5x weekdays after 5pm & Saturdays, 2x pay on Sundays.
- Hours: Monday-Thursday (8:00am-4:30pm), Friday (8:00am-3:30pm).
- Career Development: Full coded welding training provided (Each additional coding training completed leads to a higher wage).
- Travel Time: Paid before 7:30am or after 5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks, installation, maintenance and repair of various pipework systems.
- Fabrication spools, water tanks, and steam boiler repairs.
- Some workshop fabrication, from time to time.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and ARC welding.
- Experience in fabrication and pipework systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Welding certifications (preferred).
- Experience with boiler shell repairs and steam systems (Desirable).
- Ability to work with stainless steel and aluminium (Desirable).
